It was a bit peculiar that a Star Wars edition of Lego Masters screened on May the 10th and not May the 4th, but it was presumably planned that way before 2020 schedules were thrown into disarray.
It mattered little to viewers. Lego Masters won in entertainment stakes at 1.2m and topped the demos for Nine.
That was ahead of MasterChef Australia (941,000) and The Virus (642,000) both from 7:30pm, House Rules (641,000) and Grand Designs NZ (484,000 from 7:40pm).
A second House Rules episode drew 657,000 then Mystery Road (576,000 from 8:30pm) and 60 Minutes (543,000 from 8:10pm).
Nine network won Sunday with 30.5% then Seven 27.0%, 10 19.2%, ABC 15.1% and SBS 8.1%.
Nine News drew 1.12m and a later edition was 366,000. Inside Crime pulled 233,000.
Seven News was #1 at 1.32m for Seven. An ABBA Forever replay pulled 346,000.
The Sunday Project was 614,000 / 393,000 for 10. 10 News First was 350,000 / 315,000 and FBI: Most Wanted was 282,000.
ABC News (812,000), Killing Eve (212,000) and Compass (150,000) also comprised ABC’s night.
On SBS it was SBS World News (242,000), Egypt’s Top Ten Treasures (230,000) and Whitney (134,000).
NCIS led multichannels at 167,000.

The edition of The Project now out rating 60 minutes!
We’re one of the few that watch House Rules each week. Last night was gruelling. So long. So many “coming up next” then after each break a “recap”. It just went on and on. So we turned off. Exhausted.
Totally agree, I tape it to watch later and can fast forward a lot of the recaps after recaps of what happened 5 minutes ago, much better way to watch the episode, which is a bit of a problem if that’s what you have to do to make it watchable….
When did the second episode of house rules start?
Seven are all over the shop with HRHS.
I no longer know which night is the reveals, and burning 2 eps at once…
Is there a reason for the double episodes of House Rules David? Are they burning eps to bring in Big Brother or something else?
There’s always a reason but I can only speculate. It’s the same amount of content so not affected by BB. I think they feel Sundays gets more eyeballs due to reveal episode.
I initially thought this week’s double episode of House Rules was to allow Seven to show the Tiger King special on Tuesday. But it turned out it was still only homeowners reveal last night, so the long episode must be extra footage from the actual interior renovations.
