Miriam Margolyes wins timeslot again. Nine claims Tuesday.

Ratings: Outback Truckers scores for 7mate. MasterChef tops demos.

Miriam Margolyes: Almost Australian has won its timeslot for a second week.

The ABC show drew 579,000, which excluding reality wrap-ups was the top drawcard post 8:30pm.

At 988,000 The Voice again bettered MasterChef Australia‘s 920,000 -but the cooking show still leads in the demos.

7:30 (570,000), Foreign Correspondent (486,000), House Rules (465,000) and Who Do You Think You Are? (382,000) all followed.

Elsewhere last night How to Stay Married was 400,000, then Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince (318,000).

Nine network won Tuesday with 29.5% then Seven 22.8%, 10 20.4%, ABC 16.6% and SBS 9.1%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.23m / 1.13m for Seven. Home and Away (666,000) and The Chase (664,000 / 383,000) followed. Absentia was just 166,000 / 124,000 which could be ripe for a move next week.

Nine News (1.16m / 1.1m) was best for Nine. A Current Affair (856,000) won its slot, then Hot Seat (606,000 / 356,000).

The Project drew 633,000 / 393,000 for 10. 10 News First was 423,000 / 317,000. NCIS drew 235,000.

ABC News (808,000) was best for ABC. Road to Now was 298,000 then The Drum (245,000)

On SBS it was Insight (200,000), SBS World News (188,000), Dateline (186,000) and The Feed (76,000).

Outback Truckers led multichannels at 188,000.

  1. Picture of Miriam with a Truckie and a Truck and Outback Truckers pips Bluey and NCIS on the Multi’s, Trucks may become the new Trains soon for networks (cue TISM’s I Drive A Truck).

    With Masterchef hanging with The Voice while the Blinds are on, it will be interesting to see what happens when they’re done as that is when The Voice generally dips, especially in the battle rounds.
