Spanish teen drama Elite has been renewed for a fourth season -but there will be cast changes ahead.

It’s a swift renewal given its third season was renewed in September, and screened in March.

Deadlines notes the show, created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, is one of the Netflix’s best performing Spanish originals, with more than 20m households.

Leaving the show are Mina El Hammani, Danna Paola, Ester Expósito, Álvaro Rico, and Jorge López. Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Arón Piper, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas and Georgina Amorós are confirmed to reprise their roles.

  1. As long as the departing hunks who regularly take their shirts off are replaced with new hunks that regularly take their shirts off, then I’m all good.
    Seriously though, in addition to the eye candy, this is a very well made, addictive guilty pleasure. Glad it’s returning.
