Issa Rae dramedy gets a fifth season renewal.

US comedy Insecure, starring co-creator Issa Rae, has been renewed for a 5th season by HBO.
The series centres around best friends Issa (Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) as they navigate the tricky professional and personal terrain of Los Angeles.
It also features Prentice Penny, Jay Ellis, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales and Alexander Hodge.
“We’re thrilled that Issa, Prentice, and the whole Insecure team will be getting back together for a fifth season,” said Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of HBO Programming. “As we laugh and cringe with recognition, their stories make us all feel a little less alone in the world.”
Season 4 began early last month on FOX Showcase.

Watched part of an episode for the first time the other day. I need subtitles. Half the time, I didn’t catch what the characters were saying, especially when they were bouncing dialogue off one another. I’m thinking that if I watch it more my hearing will adapt, but atm I’m all ‘what?’.
