Returning: Black Monday

A second season resumes on Stan in late June.

Part 2 of Black Monday‘s second season begins on Stan in late June, screening same day as the US.

There will be four new episodes to screen on a weekly basis.

Take a ride back to October 19, 1987, aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in Wall Street history. To this day, no one knows who caused it – until now. Season one of this outrageous series followed Maurice “Mo” Monroe (Don Cheadle) as he and his group of outsiders took on the blueblood, old boys’ club of Wall Street. This season focuses on the aftermath. And as the stakes rise, so does the body count. In season two, Dawn (Regina Hall) is no longer fighting for her place – she owns it; and Blair (Andrew Rannells) has evolved from naïve and impressionable to ruthless and manipulative. They are the bosses now but they quickly learn that heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when that head is constantly looking over its shoulder for Mo, who’s on the run with Keith (Paul Scheer). But, who will go down for the crash? Who will go down for the murders? And who will go down for fleecing Mo?

Sunday June 28 on Stan.
