Returning: Shakespeare & Hathaway

Season 3 of UK mystery Shakespeare & Hathaway, starring Jo Joyner and Mark Benton, begins on ABC this week.

Now that Lu has passed her private investigator exams and Frank’s tidied himself up a bit, there’s no stopping them. “How the Rogue Roar’d”
Property Developer Henrietta Bolingbroke (Josette Simon) hires Frank (Mark Benton) and Lu (Jo Joyner) to dig for dirt at Lucky’s Haul, an old Bingo Hall which is getting in the way of her plans to gentrify the area. They pretend to be local journalists writing a piece about Bingo Halls and meet Assistant Manager, Meghan Poins (Me’sha Bryan). They hope to meet Lucky (Nathan Harmer), the Haul’s illustrious owner but are side tracked when Frank recognises the caretaker – Eddie (Jim Moir AKA Vic Reeves), former armed robber and Frank’s nemesis from his days on the Force.
