4000 die-hard Eurovision fans re-voting on the 2016 event as part of lockdown entertainment have decided Dami Im should have won -and not Ukraine’s Jamala.
Dami Im came second in the actual event with Sound of Silence, beaten by the song 1944 by just 23 points.
But in the online hypothetical event, she is given top honours.
Dami Im recently indicated she missed the euphoria of Eurovision and wanted to compete again in 2021, but SBS has confirmed Montaigne will perform next year after this year’s event was cancelled.

We are not Europe….we are a long way from anywhere else in the world….
I am guessing a lot of expense to hold the event here if we did win.
It wouldn’t happen. SBS would partner with a Euro broadcaster.
Think she won the popular vote first time around anyway and would have won if they hadn’t changed the voting system.
