Nine’s decision to drop Lego Masters to two nights a week (which may have been in response to network production changes) has given Seven enough breathing space to win by just 0.5%.

Seven led in total people and primary channel share, although  10 won 16-39 and Nine won 25-54.

Amongst last week’s highlights Have You Been Paying Attention? returned to its best season premiere.

  1. As Nine only won two nights Sunday and Monday I am surprised Seven didn’t win by a bigger margin. Think this week may be similar as nine have nothing that attracts any big numbers at the moment other then LM.

  2. The funny thing about this though is Channel 7 is one multi-channel short of Nine and can still win weeks without football, even if it is the first week of the year. They’ve got a long road ahead though. I will say though i’m hating all the cooking content on 7Flix now. The name doesn’t even fit anymore. Its too much, especially during the day. I loved watching old reruns of dramas and now its just all cooking shows.

    1. Each to their own. When 7Food went, I mourned, but they have taken many of the best shows over to Flix, and I love it. The food shows basically fill the morning slot until about 10 or 11, and then Flix reverts to the non-movie content it has always had. This is perfect programming for me, as I am happy to record my favourite food shows and watch later. My only gripe is that they seem to have rights to only some seasons, which means a lot of repeats.
