Tasmanian Media Awards 2020: winners

Landline cameraman Peter Curtis wins Outstanding Contribution to Journalism in Tassie.

Landline cameraman Peter Curtis has won top honours at the Tasmanian Media Awards.

Curtis won the Keith Welsh Award for Outstanding Contribution to Journalism. He has been working for ABC in Tasmania and around the world – Moscow, the Middle East, Washington included – for the past four decades, assisting journalists and camera operators to improve their craft and careers.

A profile on writer Vicki Madden also saw The Examiner’s Frances Vinall awarded an Arts reporting win.
