The Front Bar returns on Thursday but from June 10, it will move to Wednesday nights as Thursday Night Footy becomes a regular fixture.
A week before the AFL season restarts, Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Andy Maher will assume their usual positions at the bar to celebrate the lighter side of footy and shout some of the game’s biggest stars a beer.
The boys will be joined by the usual regulars throughout the season, including 2020’s superstar recruit Andy Lee and fan favourite Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
Despite all the changes in football this year, Mick says there are still some things you can count on:
“It’s gonna be a weird season. Carlton fans will have to leave their lounge room at three-quarter time now.”
At The Front Bar’s grand reopening, the special guests will include former Collingwood and Carlton high-flyer Dale Thomas and AFL CEO/Melbourne University Blues great Gillon McLachlan.

The spin-offs have struggled in non AFL markets, not sure why 7 are bothering with a live broadcast down the eastcoast.
How many weeks before Qld and NSW get a movie instead? Mick’s Multi must have good odds after 2 weeks?
Glad that it will be live in Sydney and Brisbame when its on Wednesdays.
Don’t think Sydney or Brissy could give a toss about this show, live or not.
Haha, I’ll pay that. I agree that most dont care about the AFL or the various AFL-type panel shows up there. But i actually don’t mind this one show (im from Syd btw). I lime their humour of it
