New Edie Falco drama Tommy is coming to 10.
The former star of Nurse Jackie and The Sopranos stars as a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles (‘cos apparently that’s a revelation). A true blue New Yorker, Abigail “Tommy” Thomas uses her unflinching honestly and hardball tactics to keep social, political and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.
Aussie Kate Dennis -who has also directed on Run and The Handmaid’s Tale– directed episode one.
The cast also stars Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom, Life In Pieces) and Aussie Adelaide Clemens (Love My Way, Rectify, The Great Gatsby).
The series by writer Paul Attanasio (Bull, Homicide: Life On The Street, House) premiered in the US in February.
10 is yet to confirm an airdate but perhaps a replacement for Blue Bloods later in June?

Edie is great in this, but it isn’t anything new in regards to storyline.
It belongs on 10Bold at best
Skews so old and it’s been axed already
It’s off brand for 10
Just announced that it wasn’t renewed for a second season.
