You Can’t Ask That: May 6

Kids talk families, friendships, screen time, bullying, sex, death & the internet.

The season finale of You Can’t Ask That speaks to kids.

Every new generation is unique from the rest, but what things remain the same? 11-year-olds today were born after the invention of the iPhone, after Facebook and YouTube. As adults, we’ve grown accustomed to the ubiquity of technology – it’s crept up on us slowly. But the new generation of kids have never known life without the internet or a smartphone. Are they a different species? In this funny, heart-warming and revealing episode, we speak to kids from around Australia – from the city to the country – about families, friendships, screen time, bullying, sex, death and the internet.

9pm Wednesday on ABC.

  1. Shame its the season final. I only recently got into this show via ads for the “killed someone” episode which I watched and found it to be quite impactful. Have watched others in the season and all are good. Luckily for me I see all the older seasons are online.
