New Joseph Gordon-Levitt hijack movie 7500 will premiere on Amazon Prime later this month.
The film is directed by Patrick Vollrath (short film Everything Will Be Okay) in his feature debut.
The emergency code for a plane hijacking is 7500: this intense thriller is told from the cockpit on a flight from Berlin to Paris as a pilot must keep it together when his aircraft is hijacked by terrorists.
Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) prepares his plane for take-off without incident. Suddenly, he hears shouting in the passenger cabin as a group of young men try to storm the cockpit. A battle begins between crew and attackers where one must balance trying to save individual lives while avoiding an even bigger catastrophe. The cockpit door becomes a battleground – and Tobias ends up being the arbiter over life and death.
