Nine continues its music specials paired with The Voice, this week airing Whitney: Can I Be Me?

This is a 2017 doco by filmmaker Nick Broomfield which screens in 2 parts. Notably the estate of Houston objected to its content.

Four years after her death, filmmaker Nick Broomfield goes in search of the forces that made and then destroyed the singer who has been described as having one of the greatest voices of the last 50 years.

  1. This is a brilliant documentary- you can’t help but get emotional at the loss and how truly great Whitney was and the tragedy that the demons overtook her life and that of her daughter
