….and that’s what you missed on Glee.

A seemingly-innocent tweet prompts former Glee cast to take issue with star Lea Michele.

TV star spats are often the domain of tabloids but one which has (re)surfaced this week has a number of former Glee co-stars taking issue with Lea Michele (Rachel).

After Michele tweeted her view on the George Floyd incident to her 4.5m followers, several of her former black co-stars weighed in.

First to respond was Samantha Marie Ware who played Jane Hayward on the sixth season.

Black Lighting actor Dabier, who appeared in a 2014 episode of Glee, tweeted “Girl, you wouldn’t let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause ‘I didn’t belong there,’ F*** you Lea.”

Amber Riley, who played Mercedes Jones on the series, let her GIFs do the talking for her.

So did Alex Newell (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist), who joined Glee’s third season as vocalist Unique Adams.

There have previously been claims about Michele.

In her 2016 book, ‘Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up,” Naya Rivera, who played Santana, wrote, “As the show progressed, though, that friendship started to break down, especially as Santana moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time. I think Rachel—erm, I mean Lea—didn’t like sharing the spotlight.”

Ryan Murphy, who also directed Feud, once told E! News, “I know for a fact that they [Lea and Naya] admired each other’s work, ‘cause I directed them both in scenes. I don’t think I would take on Lea and Naya. I think for a feud to work on this show, it has to have decades of pain behind it. But if they’re still feuding at 40, I might consider it. I’ll call them up in a couple years.”

  3. These supposed/alleged rumours/facts have been around for years. Very interesting that they are bought up again now. Is it the people who are bringing them back up need some more publicity? Or are they make a valid point? That is the two sides of the argument. Before anyone points out I know both Alex Newell and Amber Riley are still around.

    1. Obviously the claims are in response to Lea’s supposedly heartfelt message of support to the Black community. They are simply pointing out that she hasn’t been so supportive in the past.
