Head of Publicity departing FOX Sports

Brendan Moo has been part of the Foxtel family since 2003.

Brendan Moo is departing FOX Sports as Director Marketing & Communications / Head of Publicity, as staff leave the broadcaster due to cost cutting.

Moo has enjoyed several roles with Foxtel since he first joined in 2003 including Head of Publicity, Head of Factual Channels & Senior Executive Publicity, General Manger (Foxtel on Demand / New Media & Pay-Per-View / General Entertainment Channels) and as Head of Content Acquisitions for Presto.

Previous roles include Head of Publicity for Nine Sydney, Senior Publicist at SBS and journalist with News Limited. Moo did his cadetship at the Brisbane Sun and was a TV Writer and Critic before becoming a sports writer.

In 2016 he was one of Foxtel’s ‘magnificent 7’ to depart, along with Rhonda Dawson, Travis Conneeley, Shaun James, Gabriel Ayoub, Paul Macionis and Graham Burrells.

He returned in 2017 for a 6 month contract but the role was extended to 3 and a half years. For the past 12 months he has been FOX Sports Head of Publicity working with Foxtel’s Jamie Campbell.
