Nine takes Sunday win

Ratings: Seven News, MasterChef and 60 Minutes all lead Sunday slots.

Nine managed a comfortable win last night although it was unable to unseat 10’s cooking contest.

MasterChef Australia was the top entertainment drawcard on 967,000. The show, which saw Tessa Boersma depart, also topped the demos.

The Voice, with Delta Goodrem coercing two contestants to form a duo, drew 866,000, then Big Brother (701,000) and Grand Designs (490,000 from 7:40pm).

Later 60 Minutes drew 632,000 then Operation Buffalo (443,000), FBI: Most Wanted (315,000) and movie: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (277,000).

Nine network won Sunday with 31.4% then Seven 24.9%, 10 21.0%, ABC 14.2% and SBS 8.4%.

Nine News drew 996,000 for Nine and a late edition was 307,000.

Seven News was #1 with 1.18m for Seven.

The Sunday Project pulled 477,000 / 316,000 for 10. 10 News First followed at 301,000 / 224,000.

ABC News was 707,000. Compass drew 185,000 and movie: Bran Nue Dae was just 134,000.

On SBS it was Top Ten Treasures Of Pompeii (220,000), SBS World News (196,000) and Henry IX: The Lost King (150,000).

NCIS led multichannels on 147,000.
