Q&A: June 29

Communications Minister Paul Fletcher is on the Q&A panel, with Virginia Trioli hosting.

Paul Fletcher, Minister for Communications, is on the Q&A panel… standby for questions on ABC, arts / screen industry assistance and Channel 31 switch off?

Virginia Trioli is hosting.

Plenty to discuss this week – the Federal Government has unveiled its $250 million rescue package for the decimated arts industry, the stain of branch stacking continues to plague the Labor party, and university fees are set for the biggest shake up in a decade. Also, claims of sexual harassment have rocked the High Court, youth unemployment is skyrocketing and all this against a backdrop of a COVID spike in Victoria.

Q+A is live with guest host Virginia Trioli on Monday, June 29 at 9.35pm AEST.

Joining Virginia on the panel live:

Paul Fletcher, Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts
Bill Shorten, Former Labor leader
Katie Noonan, Singer, producer and songwriter
Yasmin Poole, Writer and youth advocate
Sue Morphet, President, Chief Executive Women

Katie Noonan will close the show with a performance of one of the songs from her new album, The Sweetest Taboo.

9:35pm Monday on ABC.

  1. I actually hope Paul Fletcher answers some questions on Q&A tomorrow night, as all he did was try to tap dance around them, without much success, during a very watchable David Speers grilling on Insiders this morning…

    1. if his fluffing about on The Project the other night is any indication, I can’t see that he will have much to offer on Q&A. Although I wonder if he will give a farewell to Channel 31 on the eve of it going off-air.
