The Handmaid’s Tale delayed to 2021

Under his eye, in 2021.

Bad news. Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale has now been pushed out to 2021.

Production was just getting underway in Canada in March when it was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hulu has now shifted its release to next year.

The series has undoubtedly been impacted by border closures, impacting cast and crew from around the globe, amongst other restrictions.

The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel and Bradley Whitford.

It was due to premiere mid year on SBS.

  1. Not surprised but also sad news as such an amazing show. Roll on 2021 and some great story telling.

    SBS at least start to show The Good Fight instead!!
