70,000 posts and counting…

The site passes another milestone today...

TV Tonight has today published its 70,000th post -that’s an awful lot of TV in 13 years!

Previous milestones included 60,000 (2018), 50,000 (2017) and 40,000 (2015) posts.

2020 has been a year like no other, with production shutdowns, no Logie or Eurovision events and the likelihood of remote Upfronts on the way.

As a site for both industry and public alike I feel it’s been important to keep readers informed of the impact on production, programming and employment -as well as innovation.

As always the passion for television is shared, and your continued loyalty is fantastic.

I’m not sure what’s ahead for the rest of the year, but I hope to keep you up to date with equal elements of information, opinion and humour.

cheers, David!

  1. Congratulations! It has inspired me to stop lurking and become part of the comments.

P.s – I would love to know the number of replies you have?! hehehe especially to the comments of “What was the rating for…” type and the AFL vs NRL defusing. Good job

  3. Congratulations, David – has your workload increased as the site has become busier, or has it become easier as you’ve been doing this for a while and know all the ups and downs?

  5. That’s a mighty effort David, keep up your great work as I visit this site everyday multiple times as I find it’s the best way to be informed of what’s happening in TV land.

  6. Amazing achievement. I love coming to this site each day (usually multiple times) for real information without the click bait seen elsewhere. I’ve always wondered if you’ve ever posted an article expecting a big response and the silence in the comments field was deafening.
