Casting has (re)opened on Holey Moley for Seven to now be filmed in Australia, after filming was abandoned in the US due to COVID restrictions.
“We’re looking for Australians of all backgrounds to take a swing on the most outrageous golf course ever built,” a casting notice advises.
Seven is now looking for both adults and kids, set to immerse the latter into the series.
Kids aged 8 – 12, along with a parent or legal guardian, will take on our wild golf obstacle course and must be available for filming for 2 weeks from late September 2020.
Producers Eureka Productions are hoping their Australian course, in either NSW or Queensland, will also be utilised for other international versions.
Tip this to kick off Seven’s 2021 year?

I’m going to be majorly disappointed if the Uranus hole doesn’t make it into the Australian version.
I’m really looking forward to Holey Moley, but I just think young children will ruin it, with their ‘over-the-top-ness?’
My random thought; it is viable for Ninja Warrior and this show to build massive sets for just a few hrs of content. but The Project, a shows that air every day, cant invest in a larger desk so that Tommy doesn’t have to sit on a stool off to the side?
A bit off topic… but I guess everybody has been just trying to get stories to air safely. When this started we had no idea how long it would last. We should really be applauding the distancing ..damned if do / don’t?
I don’t think there’s much spare room at Como building for a bigger set.
Running gag the person on the TV screen, live from Sydney, only gets an ironing board desk too…
I think the episodes on Friday and Sunday, with Tommy hanging in the open, are done from the Sydney studio?
