Binge offers free month for Melbourne

Binge comes to the rescue for lockdown Melburnians (and extends to all Victorian homes).

Binge has announced a promo that comes to the rescue of Melbourne residents who are facing lockdown (and will extend to all Victorian homes with a postcode starting with 3).

New customers who sign up this weekend will get a free one month trial on the Standard package.

Binge CEO Julian Ogrin said: “It’s a tough time for a lot of people in Melbourne with new restrictions and lock downs. We wanted to help where we could by making the time at home a little more entertaining.

“We know that streaming has significantly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic with people spending more time at home. As a brand new service, Binge is perfectly placed for those looking for fresh content with over 10,000 hours of the best drama, reality, lifestyle and movies from the world’s best creators.

“There is something for everyone to binge on, from global hits such as Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies and Chernobyl, to blockbuster movies and new binge-worthy favourites such as McMillion$ and White House Farm,” Mr Ogrin said.

As COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne once again tighten and a number of suburbs go into full lock down, Australia’s newest streaming service, Binge, is doing its bit to make things a little easier by providing new customers with one month of access.

Starting today (Friday, 3 July) the promotion will run through until 11.59pm Monday, 6 July with Melburnians encouraged to stay in with a month on us. New customers can redeem their month of Binge Standard by visiting www.binge.com.au/melbourne.

The offer is open to new customers only and valid for one month access on the Binge Standard package.

Stream over 10,000 hours of the best true-crime, drama, reality, lifestyle and movies by the world’s best producers, directors and studios by signing up now at www.binge.com.au.

  1. Thanks David. I subscribed but disappointed there’s no closed captions at all. With everyone gone watching different things out people in bed and the volume low, subtitles are a must in this household.

    1. Invest in a pair of headphones if you can. Lots of different options from $10 to $500 and beyond. I invested in some decent and superceded noise cancelling ones a few years back and they are wonderful.

      1. I do have great ones for laptop, but for tv in bed and watching with one other partner it still doesn’t make up for lack of subtitles.
