  1. Good observations – will be interesting to see if it is sustained.
    BTW, the reason for the doubling of Melbourne audience for World’s Busiest Train Stations was that the 9 July episode was all about Flinders St station! I tuned in because of the novelty.

  2. Was wondering this myself the other day, we do need an outlet / escapism again, seems TV (and no doubt streaming, gaming, etc would also be huge). Thank you for the story, good insight.

    1. Personally, I was watching the live Dan Andrews and Jenny Mikako announcements on The Age and then later on in the night watching ABC News to get further updates and views on it. Rather than just The Age reports on that dedicated covid-19 blog that go along with it, so basically not watching Nine News as they own the Age/Sydney Morning Herald … maybe others were as well(?).
