Yikes. Nine News reporter Reid Butler was wrapping a Live cross last night on COVID lockdowns when one punter decided to give the finger.
Everyone kept a straight face as it made it Live to air.
But points to Nine’s social media team for trimming the clip for online, just before the wayward moment.
It almost went unnoticed. Almost….
Residents and businesses are tonight scrambling to get ready before 36 suburbs in Melbourne's north and north-west go into lockdown.

Ahh the live cross… Another pointless activity, not really impressive because we can all face time each other now anyway. Unless standing in front of something live and indescribably significant, just another source of padding in a slow hour of news and sadly another reason to watch Netflix.
