Paul Murray Live: July 29

PML will broadcast from the Gold Coast tonight.

Paul Murray Live will broadcast from the Gold Coast tonight, with guest muso Brad Cox.

News Corp Australia will also make a special announcement during the program, regarding their commitment to the long-term recovery of bushfire affected regions across Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.

Paul Murray said: “I’m thrilled to be back on the road to showcase communities across regional Australia, and meet more great people on the Gold Coast. Our local neighbours are fighting back and working together in these times of crisis with a tenacity and vibrancy that needs to be shown to the rest of Australia.”

In this special episode, Paul will be speaking with the inspirational Queenslanders helping to get the state back in business, shining a light on the COVID-19 recovery efforts in the city and across Queensland’s regional towns, and the ongoing impact the current border shutdown is having on tourism-dependent businesses.

During the program, Paul will hear from local business owners on the economic toll the state’s closure to Victoria and localised New South Wales hot spots is having on their businesses, and the impact of enduring the same pandemic regulations as larger cities despite the lower COVID-19 cases recorded.

Paul will also showcase all that the Gold Coast has to offer and encourage people – where they can – to visit the sunshine state.

The affect of the border restrictions on fly-in-fly-out regional workers and their families, the COVID-19 recovery efforts in the Northern Territory and the rebuilding of bushfire-afflicted Mallacoota, Victoria will also feature during the episode.

Sony Music artist and country music singer Brad Cox will be performing for viewers during the show, including his hit song ‘Give Me Tonight’ and his new single ‘Drinking Season.’

9pm tonight on SKY News.
