Seven takes quiet Thursday

Despite Melbourne being in lockdown, Thursday was another quiet night in entertainment, but Sport ensured an easy win for Seven.

AFL pulled 695,000 for across Seven’s network, with NRL at 325,000 / 26,000 for Nine/ 9GEM.

The Chase was the top entertainment drawcard at 661,000 / 419,000.

7:30 won its slot with 540,000 for ABC.

That was ahead of Bachelor in Paradise (501,000 and topped younger demos), Territory Cops (269,000 / 237,000 in 3 cities), Inside the Orient Express (239,000) and The Heights (183,000).

Seven network won Thursday with 33.5% then Nine 24.9%, 10 18.0%, ABC 14.6% and SBS 9.0%

Seven News was #1 with 1.13m / 1.09m for Seven. Home and Away drew 586,000. A Harry Potter film was 189,000 in 3 cities.

Nine News (1.06m / 997,000 and led older demos) was best for Nine. A Current Affair was 615,000 then Hot Seat (543,000 / 329,000). Reported Missing was 137,000 in 3 cities.

The Project was 529,000 / 308,000 for 10. 10 News First (424,000 / 263,000), Celebrity Gogglebox USA (274,000) and Law & Order: SVU (141,000) followed.

ABC News led its slot at 768,000 for ABC. Sammy J (332,000), Escape from the City (295,000), The Drum (179,000) and Father Brown (188,000) followed.

On SBS it was Drain Alcatraz (203,000), War of the Worlds and SBS World News (both 190,000) then Mastermind (102,000).

Bluey led multichannels at 253,000.
