Talent manager arrested

Titus Day arrested for allegedly defrauding Guy Sebastian of more than $1.15 million.

Talent manager Titus Day has been arrested in Sydney for allegedly defrauding singer Guy Sebastian of more than $1.15 million over seven years.

News.com.au reports police inquiries allegedly revealed multiple fraud offences committed between December 2013 and April 2020.

The arrest comes amid legal action between the pair, with each claiming to be owed hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Sebastian claims Day owes him $200,000 over an alleged breach of contract and unpaid fees, while the singer’s former manager says he is owed $800,000.

Day’s management agency, 6 Degrees Management, went into liquidation in July last year.

He previously represented other Australian celebrities including Sophie Monk, Grant Denyer, Stephanie Rice, Shannon Noll, Sam Moran.
