US political documentary On The Trail: Inside The 2020 Primaries profiles CNN female journalists, against the backdrop of one of the wildest elections in American history.

The political film will center around 10 female journalists at CNN and their experiences covering the 2020 presidential campaign. The new feature will follow reporters Dana Bash, Kaitlan Collins, Jessica Dean, Daniella Diaz, Annie Grayer, Kyung Lah, MJ Lee, Abby Phillip, Arlette Saenz, and Jasmine Wright as they work to capture the news leading up to election day.

Wednesday September 2 at 8.30pm on FOX Showcase.

  1. It’s already on demand, I saw it last night. Pretty good recap of 2020 so far. It was amazing to be reminded how (un)seriously Trump took Covid-19 in the beginning.

    I wish the doco followed more of the candidates though.
