Airdate: Raised by Wolves

New Ridley Scott sci-fi Raised by Wolves will premiere on FOX Showcase in early September, same day as the US.

Raised by Wolves focuses on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.

The series stars Aussie Travis Fimmel (Vikings) along with Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah and Ivy Wong.

Ridley Scott is the executive producer and also directed the first two episodes, marking his television series directorial debut.

The series is produced by Scott’s Scott Free Productions, with Scott, writer and creator Aaron Guzikowski, David W. Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, Adam Kolbrenner, and Mark Huffam serving as executive producers.

Thursday, September 3 at 8.30pm on FOX Showcase.
