  1. I think you maybe also have to factor in a portion of viewers who are downright ticked off with the 10 network right now and totally switched off.

  2. I did hear a prediction somewhere that the current situation may reduce the appetite for trashy TV. Perhaps the launch of The Bachelor is testament to that.
I do notice MAFS is going down a slightly different path next year.

    1. It had no big competition, and a city in curfew so it really should have been higher. I’m not convinced the leading man has connected as previous (and I say that as a Survivor fan). Even 2019 was higher with an unknown in Matt Agnew.

      1. I think you might be right. I would normally drop everything to watch the early episodes of the Bachelor, but I was quite happy to record it and will probably watch it over the weekend. I didn’t really enjoy this season of BIP and as it’s just finished I think that has put me off watching the Bachelor to some extent too.

  3. Last night was the first time I’ve watched The Bachelor Australia, the commercials during The Masked Singer had me curious enough to sample it. I didn’t hate it, it’s trashy but eh. I plan to keep watching it. Curious to see how the handle the Covid-19 situation, the brief snippets they showed looked ridiculous.

Also noticed they don’t have all the previous seasons on 10 Play/10 All Access. With the extra time at home I was thinking I might binge the other seasons. Seems like theirs no legal way to watch The Bachelor S1-S5 (S6-S7 are on 10 Play) and The Bachelorette S1-S2 (S3-S5 are on 10 Play). Bachelor In Paradise is all available on 10 Play.

  4. Decent number for The Shawshank Redemption, considering it’s aired “1,000+ times” joked Leigh Paatsch in the Herald Sun yesterday when he reviewed it and it topped his reviews. It also has a very long 3hrs+.

  5. The early alcohol fuelled episodes of the Bach are always the best…..spot the characters that are there to boost their social media profile, cat fights, drunkeness…hilarious

  6. Re: The Bachelor (and other reality TV shows)
Personally, it doesn’t sit right that women tearing down other women is still considered a form of entertainment in 2020.
