Melbourne switches to ABC News for Stage 4 restrictions

  1. Thank God for ABC to all those that want Aunty privatised or sold off….
Morrison will try his level best to sell it later on… Watch this space

  2. Poor numbers for the ABC’s Countdown 2020 but a decent result for SBS and the Hiroshima documentary-a surprise to see a number of survivors who spoke good English and were still alive until recently after being so close to Ground Zero.

  3. Definately was on abc news as the other channels were still showing regular programming at 2.30 as it didn’t start till a couple minutes later so looked like they weren’t going to break into that programming to show it even though they did as soon as it started.

    1. Like how radio had long form drama before the advent of TV, people are shifting to the likes of Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ now for drama, movies and docos where it is uninterupted and minus on-screen marketing. This leaves commercial FTA with only News, live Sport and so-caled reality junk as content that still rates, sadly.

  4. I’m liking the current season of Farmer. Seven have kept true to the format and I like the addition of the weekly catch-up. Although a new season could feature online catch-ups for the farmers (irrespective of the current Pandemic crisis). If 7 would like another season, they could be state based farmers and respective contenders (obviously only in states where restrictions are less tight). It might make the hugs and kisses a challenge, unless they self-isolate first….
