More names leaked on SAS Australia

Spoiler: Who else is undergoing gruelling challenges in the Snowy Mountains?

Spoiler:

More names have been leaked in the press as appearing in the cast of SAS Australia, although Seven is yet to confirm.

The only names the network has formally announced are Schapelle Corby, Merrick Watts, Candice Warner, Nick Cummins and Roxy Jacenko.

But Daily Mail posted paparazzo shots which indicate a number of others were on location in the Snowy Mountains.

They include Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson, swimmer Shayna Jack, ex-Bachelorette Ali Oetjen, swimmer James Magnussen, Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton, actor Firass Dirani, model Erin McNaught, ex Love Island contestant Eden Dally, and Jackson Warne son of Shane Warne.

Many of those were speculated some time ago by Woman’s Day along with ex-politician Emma Husar and Olympian Jana Pittman (reportedly out due to pregnancy).

Some media are speculating Schapelle Corby and Roxy Jacenko have not lasted early episodes, but this has not been confirmed.

There’s also chatter that Ben Cousins was approached but could not participate, and could line up for 2021 if the show returns.

Seven confirmed its UK trainers and all relevant interstate talent underwent NSW quarantine rules.

    1. If they keep the ethos of the UK version it will be one of the most important shows about mental health to air on Australian TV.

If they try and turn it into a formulaic multi-night multi-week family friendly reality series it’ll probably be the trashy celeb reality series you expect.

  1. Would have thought any one with out some level of fitness will not last last very long. The reports that Corby and Jacenko only lasted early episodes would not surprise me..
