Nine snatches ratings week

Ratings: Australian Ninja Warrior helped Nine end an 8 week ratings streak by Seven.

Australian Ninja Warrior helped Nine regain a ratings week from Seven last week, ending an 8 week streak.

It was the top entertainment drawcard of the week, with three episodes leading outside of news on the three nights it appeared.

That relegated Farmer Wants a Wife to a respectable second place in entertainment brands followed by ABC’s Hard Quiz. But the news was disappointing for drama newcomer Between Two Worlds, with just 279,000 in its second outing.

Have You Been Paying Attention? was best for 10 with Great Asian Railway Journeys for SBS.

  1. I picked this around Tues/Wed as 7’s beginning to the week didn’t look as strong as the previous 2 months… And the AFL fixture looked a little more all-over-the-place than usual last week.

Having said that, what are your thoughts on this week switching back to 7 after Timeshifted Ratings are taken into account David? 7 used to be rather strong in Timeshifted, but I haven’t seen that trend this year. One of the first things I thought with Between Two Worlds was that a lot of people would record it to watch later.
