Oops. Masked Singer designer reveals Kitten identity

Costume designer Tim Chappel revealed just a little bit too much in a radio interview. No spoilin'!

Oh dear.

An interview with The Masked Singer costume designer extraordinaire Tim Chappel revealed just a little bit too much this afternoon.

Speaking to Deborah Knight on (Nine own) 2GB, Chappel was asked if he was told who the celebrities were before designing the outfits?

His answer confirmed one of the prominent names that has been trending on social media (which TV Tonight has chosen not to republish).

2GB has since edited the offending reveal from its website audio.

  1. Haven’t heard Tim’s interview so can’t comment on that.

However from the moment I heard the first ad for the show, i new instantly that Kitten was Julia Morris. Her voice is so distinct and nearly all the clues point in her direction.

Seems that the public have nearly guessed all the remaining singers. Would be awesome if there was one big name reveal who no one had suspected however I’m certain that the remaining singers will be:

    Puppet: Simon from The Wiggles
    Bushranger: Bonnie Anderson
    Kitten: Julia Morris
    Queen: Kate Miller Heidke
    Frillneck: Eddie Perfect

  2. There was an actress that appeared last week to have accidentally revealed the identity of another of the Masked Singers on Instagram. The post was quickly deleted by said actress but it seemed to leave nothing to the imagination as to who the said masked singer was.

  3. If Ten had rights to review all interviews I don’t think any radio station would touch them in the first place .. . It’s something about freedom of the press ..

  4. It’s pretty obvious who it is and if you listen to the voice you’ll pick it straight away. Pity the show is pre-recorded weeks ahead, it’s rigged as hell so they could have easily revealed kitten tonight

  5. That is the trouble with interviews before a show is done…..
Slip of the tongue so easily happens…maybe a ban on interviews ’til after?
