10’s longtime Sports presenter Tim Gossage is the latest casualty of 10 News cuts, departing after 31 years with the network.
On social media he revealed “It’s official I am leaving in a month. Been the best 31 years & I depart having had the best time. I grew up wanting to talk sport and I was lucky enough to get paid for it. I leave sad but not bitter. Much love for everyone past and present at 10. Best job ever.”
Gossage has featured on AFL and Melbourne Cup coverage, and hosted local weekly football show, The Western Front.
He joins fellow Perth presenters Monika Kos and weather presenter Michael Schultz who were confirmed in redundancies earlier this week.
10’s Perth bulletin will be presented by Sandra Sully in Sydney, but it’s unclear if it will be Live.
