US actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for Black Panther has died.

US actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for Black Panther has died, aged just 43.

He died at his home in Los Angeles having been diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago. He had not spoken publicly about his diagnosis.

Boseman had small roles in television before film roles in 42, Get on Up, Da 5 Bloods, Marshall, 21 Bridges, Gods of Egypt but his performance as King T’Challa in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, and Black Panther two years ago, made him internationally popular.

TV credits included Fringe, Justified, Castle, The Glades, Lincoln heights, Lie to Me, Cold Case, ER, Persons Unknown, CSI: New York, Law & Order and Third Watch.

Boseman died on a day that Major League Baseball was celebrating Jackie Robinson day, whom he portrayed in 42.
