Ellen: “Yes we’re gonna talk about it”
Ellen DeGeneres is returning to studio for Season 18 and will address a show controversy.

“I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it,” Ellen DeGeneres has confirmed.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show will shoot Season 18 from the Warner Bros. lot without an in-studio audience, on Monday, September 21 (US).
Following an investigation by Warner Bros. around workplace culture three senior producers departed the show with Ellen issuing a statement, acknowledging she had “not been able to stay on top of everything.”
The season premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show will feature Tiffany Haddish in-studio and the guest lineup for Premiere week also includes Kerry Washington, Alec Baldwin, and Chrissy Teigen. Also scheduled to appear throughout the month are Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Adam Sandler and Orlando Bloom.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs in Australia on Nine and FOX Arena.

I wasn’t personally there for Weinstein either, I guess we just ignore the voices of all those who were?
Orlando Bloom. I wonder if Ellen will attempt to get a world exclusive by getting Orlando to offer a baby snap.
Suggest the ratings will be huge first show back.
She has to talk about it because if she doesn’t she’ll be in real trouble. We are all human and make mistakes and I really hope she makes thr changes to make it a pleasant work environment considering all the people who work like dogs for her which make her hundreds of millions of dollars. And maybe she can look at things with a critical eye and take responsibility for the role she had to play in all of this toxic environment. A fish rots from the head.
Will she also talk about the people cleaning her house who came out with some more details…or will that also fall into the category of not being able to stay on top of everything?!

If the other incidents (on-screen and off-screen) weren’t already enough, the Mariah Carey interview incident in which she recently claimed she was pressured into revealing pregnancy on the show against her wishes (sadly was a miscarriage) and the insensitivity of how people would like to reveal such things on their own terms seems like the last straw for me. A petty promotional scoop for the show and a now tainted brand, regardless of whether it continues.The controversies brought out the intentions of people that continue to support the show riding roughshod because of their own agendas and potential promotional opportunities.
Get ready for some unbelievable excuses, empty apologies and crocodile tears.
