I’ll be watching the good fight on SBS On demand tonight. I’m sure others couldn’t be bothered waiting so long and watched it other ways thus lower ratings. Why SBS sat on it to tie it into the stupid US election is beyond me. But I’m looking forward to seeing this new season.
Imagine if The Good Fight was on a commercial station – It would rate the house down…
If the Good Fight was on a commercial network it would be on at Midnight on a secondary channel being watched by a handful of insomniacs. S3 was awful and many of the limited viewers it had, including me stopped watching it. S4 is better but with the Covid Pandemic and rioting and the real campaign in progress, it was never going to seem that relevant anyway.
…and air a different time every week, change timeslots and nights of the week at least 4 times during one season and potentially be bumped to a multi channel at some stage as well.
Could still be bumped later by SBS if the ratings are poor-has happened with other high profile stuff like ‘Homeland’ but they probably weren’t expecting too much for the various above mentioned reasons.
