  1. She’s always struck me as an insincere phony. @thedirtydigger summed up precisely how I expect her return to play out which speaks wonders of her predictability.

I’m appalled that she gets free pass after free pass for poor and unprofessional conduct when others have had their careers and their reputations destroyed for so, so much less. Colour me cynical, but I suspect that the “diversity” peddling higher-ups are adamant on keeping her at the helm. Whatever happened to the importance of the content of one’s character over insignificant superficialities?

  2. So if Tiffany Haddish is going to be the guest for the first show, That probably means that the news and gossip that has surrounded DeGeneres over the Summer will probably be brushed under the carpet pretty quickly…

  3. I’m tipping a 10 minute mea culpa right off the top with a sad dog eyes Ellen accepting some blame that others within her executive ranks have acted badly while she effectively knew nothing of the extent of it …
Then of course the obligatory tears flow and maybe a bunch of celebrity guests come on to offer her solace and support.
Portia makes a “surprise” appearence to tell the world about the “real” Ellen and her random acts of kindness…
Bet Ellen makes small talk and eye contact with everyone from now on, perhaps she will start hanging out in the kitchen to chat with her staff ( the horror the horror ) …
Never get between a big star and her career …
As a famous Australian TV star once confided , ” I can fake sincerity better than anyone else on television. ”
And he could …at least for a very long time …

    1. i really don’t know why some people seem to be determined to judge the rumours of her bad attitude towards some staff & guests must be true. Is it just that you really dislike like her & therefore its not too difficult to jump to negative conclusions?
I wouldn’t say i was a massive fan of hers, but i enjoy the show at times & i find her likeable, so perhaps i am slightly biased. However since the show is not even produced in Australia i can’t help but think how would anyone here know unless they have direct connections with the staff on the show? but even then….
