Sunrise will be live from Sydney Olympic Park tomorrow morning for the re-lighting of the Sydney Olympic Cauldron, marking 20 years since Cathy Freeman’s iconic moment.
The show will also feature some of our greatest Olympians. There will also be ongoing coverage of the 20th anniversary in Seven News.
In addition to the recent replay of the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony special, Seven will also be replaying Towards Tokyo: Sydney 2000 Moments that Moved Us on 7TWO on Sunday 27th September at 3:30pm,

if it wasn’t football season they could air some highlight packages of the major events from that Olympics, or would there be a rights issue with the IOC for re-broadcasting?
Good to see Seven/Sunrise doing a 20th anniversary of the Sydney Olympics.
Just a note though: Sydney and Brisbane repeated the “Towards Tokyo: Sydney 2000 Moments that Moved Us special” yesterday at 1pm on the main channel of Seven
