The Block drives Nine to winning week

Ratings: The Block, Nine News & current affairs drive a network win -but not everything went their way.

Nine scored another week in the ratings race as Seven saw off the last of Plate of Origin.

Once again it was The Block and Nine’s news & current affairs that drove its success, although scripted drama Halifax: Retribution is also holding firm.

10’s Bachelor finished at an all-time low but was still their best for the week, while All New Monty has done well for Seven.

But not everything when Nine’s way with Today (212,000) roundly beaten by Sunrise (273,000) in all cities.

  1. Well done Seven Studios for the “All New Monty: Guys & Gals” with the performance getting 805,000 viewers. A great win for James and SWM. Angus can we have another episode? Oh wait, what? The SS CEO has been let go? and all the production staff made redundant? Gone? Can we make another one straight away? No?
