Ratings: It was a bizarre night of programming clashes for one personality. Plate of Origin is finally cooked.

In a bizarre night of TV programming Todd Sampson as a subject on Anh’s Brush with Fame beat out Todd Sampson’s Body Hack across the same timeslot.

The ABC art show drew 638,000 viewers, roundly gazumping his own endurance series on 10 at just 306,000 viewers.

But it was The Block that won the slot and the demos at 807,000 viewers. 7:30 (589,000), the Plate of Origin finale (349,000 / 335,000) -no Winner Announced segment at 10:30pm- and Every Family has a Secret (284,000) followed.

Later Further Back in Time for Dinner drew 543,000 just ahead of Halifax: Retribution (517,000) then Ambulance Australia (275,000) and Insight (196,000).

Nine network won Tuesday with 30.2% then Seven 26.0%, ABC 18.9%, 10 16.1% and SBS 8.7%.

Nine News (966,000 / 935,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 781,000 then Hot Seat (457,000 / 285,000) and Bluff City Law (173,000).

Seven News (1.09m / 1.01m) was #1 for Seven then The Chase (565,000 / 347,000) and Home & Away (553,000).

ABC News drew 762,000 for ABC. The Great Acceleration was 254,000 and The Drum pulled 195,000.

The Project was 452,000 / 316,000 for 10. 10 News First (346,000 / 233,000) NCIS (152,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (200,000), Dateline (127,000), Mastermind (86,000) and The Feed (50,000).

Bluey led multichannels at 214,000.

  1. Todd Sampson beats Todd Sampson that head line made me laugh. Certainly some thing different. Imagine if Gruen transfer was on after Anh that would have been interesting

  2. I flicked over to POO after The Block and found they gave Matt, Gary and Manu too much air time sitting around offering idle conjecture which brought nothing to the table.

    So of course to offset that expensive mistake in luring the Masterchef judges, Seven fired a whole lot of hard working staff.
