Airdate: The Midnight Sky

Post-apocalyptic feature directed by and starring George Clooney coming to Netflix.

George Clooney’s new feature film The Midnight Sky will be released on Netflix in December after an earlier cinema release.

This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe.

Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s novel Good Morning, Midnight, co-starring David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone.

  1. Maybe Netflix sees this movie as this years Christmas present, last year I considered Lost in Space my Christmas binge.
    The film looks like it has a bit of this and a bit of that, there have been a number of frozen Earth, environmental catastrophe films made recently, mostly cheaply made B grade stuff, but George knows how to make a pleasing production even if it was released to the big screen first.
