Revival series Back to the Rafters has concluded filming for Amazon Prime.
Filming finished on October 2nd in Sydney.
It follows production restarting in September after halting in March due to the pandemic.
The series features Rebecca Gibney, Erik Thomson, Hugh Sheridan, Angus McLaren, Michael Caton George Houvardas and Georgina Haig replacing Jessica Marais as Rachel Rafter.
Both Rebecca Gibney and Hugh Sheridan went through mandatory quarantine after flying in from New Zealand and the US, respectively.
The series by writer Bevan Lee sees Dave & Julie in the country with youngest daughter Ruby, while the older Rafter children face new challenges and Grandpa Ted struggles to find his place.
Produced by Seven Studios the revival by Amazon Prime comes with the library of previous seasons.
A date is yet to be announced.

Oh very nice….. I can’t wait to see what happens from here with the story ….
Excellent. Looking forward to it
Must be a very organised production to finish filming in less than 4 weeks.
The title frustrates me still, “Back to the Rafters” it doesn’t make sense. and does that title condemn it to being just one season, it makes even less sense after that.
It will be interesting to see what Ted’s storyline is, his Dementia was developing fast in the final season.
It was finishing off previous episodes, so maybe they only had a bit to go.
Hope it is better than Bevan Lee’s last effort.
