Johanna Griggs visits Guy Sebastian at his Sydney home, this week on Better Homes & Gardens …a hint he is signed up for The Voice perhaps?

Johanna – Celebrity Walkaround – Guy Sebastian
When you live in the public eye, you need your own private retreat to escape to. For Aussie superstar, Guy Sebastian, his stunning home on Sydney’s eastern beaches is that escape. His stunning beachside home balances the needs of his family of four with a little bit of theatricality, as you’d expect for someone who has spent his life on the stage. Johanna’s taking a tour of Guy’s gorgeous home and chatting about his brand-new album along the way.

Adam – Build It & They Will Come
This week, Adam’s planning a dinner party for some feathery friends. He’s showing you how to build a bird-feeder for your backyard and the project is so simple, you can put it together in an afternoon.

Fast Ed – Crispy Fish Tacos with Quinoa and Mango Salsa
The best night of the week? Taco night, of course! Fast Ed’s giving this perennial family favourite an update just in time for spring. He’s making crispy fish tacos, but adding quinoa and mango salsa for a bit of oomph. Colourful, tasty and really good for you, your family will want tacos for dinner every night of the week.

Raw food has had a real moment as of late, and not just because it’s good for you – it’s delicious, too! Fast Ed’s proving it with a delicious springtime dessert that makes the most of one of his favourite fruits: blueberries. Combined with coconut, cinnamon, cacao powder and macadamias, these raw bars are creamy, rich and healthy, all at the same time.

Graham – Spring in Nooroo
The best gardens get better with age and this week Graham’s visiting a garden which is a case in point. Established 140 years ago, Nooroo Garden, in NSW’s Blue Mountains, is steeped in horticultural history. As each consecutive owner has added their own personal touch, Nooroo has only grown more beautiful. Graham first visited in 2013, but he’s back again to see how the garden has grown and to check out Nooroo’s stunning range of spring blooms.

Tara – Spring Laundry
Traditionally, spring is the time of year when we clean and declutter our homes. But the task is made a lot harder when the hardest-working room in the house isn’t up for the job…and that’s the laundry, of course! So this week, Tara’s giving this workhorse of a room a makeover to add functionality and style. With lots of small -space tips and tricks, getting the laundry right will make cleaning the rest of your house a whole lot easier.

Charlie – Wild Play Children’s Garden
Kids love getting lost in nature but, if you live in the concrete jungle of a big city, you can miss out on that opportunity. That’s where the Wild Play Garden, in Sydney’s Centennial Park, comes in. Designed by Ian Potter, it’s been specifically designed with kids in mind. With a water play area, a bamboo forest, banksia tunnels and even a treehouse, it’s the perfect way to get kids to immerse themselves in nature, so Charlie’s bringing his two boys to give this fun-filled oasis a test try.

  1. Better Homes and Gardens is a great family program. Isn’t Friday evening when Port Adelaide are playing Richmond in a pre-lim final? I thought that would be showing on Seven’s main channel.
