Gogglebox tops entertainment, Seven wins Thursday.

Ratings: 10 shows lead entertainment. Seven News tops the night. Is Fargo doing better at SBS on Demand?

Thursday night saw 10 lead in entertainment titles but Seven still emerged as the winner in Total People.

Gogglebox was the top entertainment drawcard at 661,000 and topped the demos, up slightly on last week.

The Bachelorette led its timeslot at 534,000 then 7:30 (523,000), Paramedics (367,000), Scottish Vets Down Under (340,000), West Gate Bridge Disaster (221,000 in 1 city), Queen Victoria’s Slum (119,000).

Trailing Gogglebox were the final Escape from the City (367,000), Kings Cross ER (346,000 / 294,000) and The Front Bar (339,000).

Seven network won Thursday with 28.7% then Nine 25.3%, 10 21.6%, ABC 17.0% and SBS 7.4%.

Seven News was #1 at 962,000 / 932,000 for Seven. The Chase drew 496,000 / 305,000 then an extended Home & Away (475,000). The Latest drew 264,000.

Nine News was best for Nine at 903,000 / 847,000. A Current Affair (647,000) and Hot Seat (470,000 / 282,000) followed. A+E After Dark was 178,000.

The Project drew 454,000  / 302,000. 10 News First (313,000 / 202,000) and a repeat of Drunk History (183,000) followed.

ABC News won its slot at 706,000. Secrets of the Museum pulled 183,000 with The Drum at 171,000.

On SBS it was SBS World News at 170,000. But a double episode of Fargo averaged just 61,000 -are more viewers now watching at SBS On Demand?

Bluey again led multichannels at 203,000.

  1. Enjoyed the West Gate Doco last night in Melbourne. An In-sight into how ordinary safety standards were back then. We don’t see enough docos on commercial TV. Have to say I am astounded how much airtime The Project is giving the inquiry into the NSW Premier and her discontinued secret relationship with a corrupt Liberal MP, with stories and interviews each night, but an inquiry into lying Victorian government ministers about a botched security program that was introduced and has caused over 600 victorian deaths, received a 15 second mention on the occasional night. So unbalanced.
