Happy Days cast to ‘reunite’ for political fundraiser

5 surviving cast members lend their names to a virtual fundraiser in US election.

Former Happy Days cast members are set to ‘reunite’ for a political fundraiser.

Henry Winkler (Fonzie), Ron Howard (Richie Cunningham), Don Most (Ralph Malph), Anson Williams (Potsie Weber), Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham) and writer Lowell Ganz will all make an appearance at a virtual fundraiser for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin (home state of Milwaukee).

At the US event later this week they will participate in a Q&A and share behind-the-scenes stories, in addition to other surprises. They recently reunited for a tribute to creator Garry Marshall.

No word on existing surviving cast: Scott Baio (Chachi), Ted McGinley (Roger Phillips), Lynda Goodfriend (Lori Beth), Cathy Silvers (Jenny Piccolo), Cindy Williams (Shirley Feeney) nor Suzi Quatro (Leather Tuscadero)….

A Princess Bride reunion featuring Cary Elwes and Robin Wright was recently held for Wisconsin Democrats.

  1. Would be fun to watch!
I would argue that the core five actors (though Ron Howard and Henry Winkler also have very impressive producing or direction credits) are the main attraction. Not sure how minor players like Cathy Silvers would add much more star power or nostalgia value.

By the way, the ABC evening radio quiz a few years back had a trivia question on the exact location of Arnold’s restaurant. The clues they offered eventually led you to the apparently correct answer of Lakeshore Drive, Milwaukee. For some bizarre reason that has stuck in my brain.

  2. Chachi won’t appear because he is a 100% trump supporter. He’s currently filming with fellow trump supporters like Antonio Sabato Jr, Stacey Dash, Dean Cain, Kirsty Swanson, Kevin Sorbo and others. Not sure about Cindy Williams. She’s a registered Republican so I guess she won’t appear in this Democrat fundraiser.
