Night AFL Grand Final proves hit for Seven

Ratings: One games rewrites the record books and puts Seven and Nine neck and neck for 2020.

The first ever primetime AFL Grand Final broke records with a staggering 2.98m viewers and an unbelievable 65.8% network share -the highest ever since OzTAM records began.

That put Seven on 17 weekly wins, tying with Nine, including for Total People commercial share (at least until the NRL Grand Final changes that).

Seven also enjoyed success with the launch of SAS Australia.

But The Block was still the top-rating Reality series of the week while The Bachelorette hit a record low on Wednesday.
