Renewed: Outback Truckers

Hit 7mate series Outback Truckers has been renewed for a 9th season.

The WA observational series from Prospero Productions is one of the channel’s biggest shows, regularly above 150,000 in overnight viewers.

“It started as a bit of a gamble on a multichannel to see how a local production would do,” 7mate programmer Billy Betts previously told TV Tonight.

“But when you see audience declines in some areas, for this to go up …was quite special, really.”

The series is expected next year.
