Just a day after its Season 3 premiere, sci-fi is renewed for a fourth season.

Just a day after its Season 3 premiere, Star Trek: Discovery has been renewed for a fourth season.

Season 3 follows Commander Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) into a wormhole while the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery must work together to restore hope to the Federation. The cast also includes Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz and David Ajala.

Production on a fourth season is set to begin on November 2nd with executive producers / co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise for CBS Studios.

The series screens in Australia through Netflix.

As only one episode is released each week a full appraisal of series 3 will have to wait, but based on episode one it arguably has the potential to be the sci-fi show of 2020, but one must not get too carried away especially when the title of the show ‘Discovery’ has been left wrecked on the sideline.
    Soneque Martin-Green can give her role more clout as numbers of the original cast miss out.
